I grew up on the East side of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After completing 2-1/2 years of college at Mankato State in Minnesota, I moved to Southern California and finished my college education. The first teaching job that I took was in Ontario, California. I taught 2nd grade there and at an elementary in Rialto, California. In 2002, my family and I moved to northern Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I worked for the Lennox School District teaching English Language Learners and Middle School Spanish part time. Currently, I teach High School Spanish at Tri-Valley and reside with my husband and 3 kids in Sioux Falls.
